Speaking about the Hamas attack on Israel, which he described as one of the scariest in the country's history over the past 50 years, Israeli journalist Agam Kedi Levi said, 'This is a very serious moment for us.' He also expressed hope that the villages captured by the terrorists would soon be recaptured by the Israeli Army.
Regarded as the biggest attack on Israel in years, on Saturday morning Hamas launched around 5,000 rockets from Gaza. In the wake of military offensives in south Israel and retaliation by Israeli Defence Forces, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared, “We are at war, and we will win" in a video statement on Saturday.

According to Gaza health officials, 198 Palestinians were killed and 1,610 were wounded after the Israeli Defence Force launched a counterstrike in Gaza.
