Turkey earthquake: Impressed by Indian medical team, Turkish couple help locals by assisting doctors

India Today spoke to a Turkish couple volunteering at the 60 Parafield hospital. Furqan, a lecturer at Istanbul University and his wife Asst Professor Mallika are assisting the Indian Army doctors interact with the locals by acting as interpreters. The couple was returning to Istanbul from Adana when the Indian medical team landed . They said they were so impressed that they decided to stay back and help.
