Delhi hotel fire: Meet the heroes who saved many lives from the deadly blaze

A fire broke out at a hotel in Hauz Rani, Malviya Nagar, leaving several guests trapped inside. Local residents immediately stepped in to help with the rescue operations. A local mattress shop owner, Mansoori, threw his shop's mattresses onto the road, allowing trapped individuals, including foreign nationals, to jump to safety from the upper floors. While many lives were saved by the actions of the locals, casualties were reported as people fell unconscious due to the heavy smoke. Rescue teams and the fire brigade later cut open a locked iron gate to access the building and recover the victims.
