At India Today Conclave East 2021, West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar hit out at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and said he was worried about the current state of affairs. Saying that Mamata Banerjee is ruling Bengal in an “emergency-like” manner as if it is her personal jaagir (estate), Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar added that fear all around in the state. “There is so much fear that people don't discuss these fears," Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar said. During the conclave session, the Bengal Governor said he is revealing in just the "tip of the iceberg" about West Bengal. We're sitting on a volcano, not a fortnight passes without people being killed as a consequence of illegal bomb-making, Dhankhar said.
