India registers 3,52,991 new Covid cases, 2,812 deaths in new record high

The coronavirus caseload and death toll hit new records for a fifth straight day as India faced a deluge of over 3.52 lakh Covid-19 cases. India reported 3,52,991 fresh Covid cases and 2,812 deaths in a single day. Maharashtra remains the worst-hit state with 66,191 cases registered in the last 24 hours.
