Maharashtra records over 11,000 new Covid-19 cases first time since October

In its highest surge since October last year, Maharashtra registered over 11,000 fresh Covid-19 cases on Sunday.

Maharashtra recorded 11,141 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking its active case tally to 97,983, according to the latest update from the state health ministry. Maharashtra also recorded 83 deaths due to Covid-19 as the death toll from Covid-19 in Maharashtra mounted to 52,478.
