Russia approves single-dose Sputnik Light Covid vaccine

Russia has approved the one-shot Sputnik Light version of its Covid-19 vaccine for use. The revolutionary 1-shot COVID-19 vaccine has 80% efficacy, which is higher than many 2-shot vaccines.

Developed by Moscow's Gamaleya Institute, the slimmed-down vaccine, costs under $10 a dose and has been earmarked for export and could increase the number of people with partial immunity.
