CBSE's reevaluation mess has taken another bizarre turn.

After days of complaints over crashing websites, failed payments and blurry scanned answer sheets, students and parents are now sharing screenshots showing wildly fluctuating reevaluation fees on the portal itself.

One X post on May 22 afternoon by @sidhant_sarthak accused CBSE’s system of being "hacked".

"Good morning @cbseindia29 your site was hacked, students were scammed," the user wrote.

The post claimed that the reevaluation fee changed repeatedly within hours. "Last night the price was changed to Re 1 then to Rs 69.67 and now to Rs 8000 and as of 3 minutes ago Rs 69420 for each subject."

The screenshots are quickly spreading online, amid disbelief, memes and anger among students already exhausted by the ongoing CBSE post-result chaos.

STUDENTS SAY PROBLEMS NEVER STOPPED

The latest fee glitch comes after nearly three days of continuous complaints linked to CBSE’s reevaluation and answer-sheet copy portal.

Students across the country have reported login failures, frozen pages, payment deductions without confirmation and repeated "service unavailable" errors.

Many also shared blurry scanned answer sheets online, claiming they could barely read their own handwriting. Some questioned how teachers could accurately evaluate such copies through the On Screen Marking system.

The situation has become especially stressful for students simultaneously dealing with JEE, NEET and CUET pressure.

Social media is now flooded with angry posts demanding accountability, clearer communication and proper fixes instead of repeated technical failures.

For many students, the bigger issue is no longer just marks. It is whether they can trust the system at all.
