The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for submitting bank account details for the NEET UG 2026 fee refund process. Candidates can now update their details on the official registration portal till June 22, 2026, up to 11:50 pm.
The extension comes after the agency noticed that several candidates were yet to complete the process. Earlier, the facility was available from May 22 to May 27.
According to the official public notice issued on May 27, nearly 13 lakh candidates have already updated their bank account details through the NEET UG 2026 registration portal.
WHAT CANDIDATES NEED TO DO
Students who are eligible for the refund must log in to the NEET UG 2026 portal using their application credentials and click on the refund link available on the dashboard.
Candidates are required to carefully enter their preferred bank account details for refund processing. The NTA has also allowed students to upload a cancelled cheque to avoid errors in account information, although it is optional.
The agency has clearly stated that once the bank account details are submitted, they will be treated as final. No further modifications will be permitted after submission.
