EVM found in BJP candidate's car in Assam, EC seeks report

After the second phase of polling ended in Assam on Thursday, an unattended electronic voting machine was found in a vehicle belonging to BJP candidate from Patharkandi, Krishnendu Paul.

An affidavit submitted to the Election Commission confirms that it was Paul's car.

The Election Commission has now sought a report on the incident in Karimganj.
