In a major scoop on the National Democratic Alliance's seat-sharing negotiations for Bihar election, sources said BJP and JDU will contest 205 of the 243 seats, possibly in an even split, to send a message of unity. The remaining 38 seats are designated for smaller allies. Chirag Paswan's LJP has been offered 25 seats, Jitan Ram Manjhi's HAF may receive 7, and Upendra Khushwaha's RLSP could get 6. Hectic negotiations are underway, with BJP's election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan meeting allies. However, sources added that Chirag Paswan is not happy with this formula. He wants at least 35 seats to fight.
