Has BJP roped in Kannada star Kiccha Sudeep for campaigning ahead of Karnataka polls?

With assembly elections in Karnataka coming near, the BJP is leaving no stone unturned to pull the polls off and ensure its victory. Sources told India Today that the party has made an offer to noted Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep to join the saffron camp. 

The party has also urged the actor to campaign for the BJP even if the actor is not willing to join. According to sources, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and other party leaders are already in conversation with the actor. 

Earlier in February, the chief of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) DK Shiva Kumar, met Kiccha Sudeep at his residence.

Karnataka will go to Assembly polls on May 10 and the counting of votes will be done on May 13.
