Kamal Haasan: First terrorist in independent India was a Hindu

Kamal Haasan has sparked controversy with his statement claiming that the first terrorist in independent India was a 'Hindu', referring to Mahatama Gandhi's assailant, Nathuram Godse. This statement by Kamal Haasan, the founder of Makkal Needhi Maiamhas party, has yet again reignited the 'Hindu-terror' debate. Commenting on Haasan's statement, Tamil Nadu BJP leader, Narayan Thirupathy said that Kamal Haasan has "gone beyond his limits to please Muslims."
