Political parties order sweets ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha election results

Few political parties across India have ordered sweets ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha Sabha election results.

"We've received order of 10-12 quintal of laddoos (sweets) from BJP, Shiromnani Akali Dal and Congress. The orders have been coming in right after the exit polls," a shop owner in Ludhiana said.

In Delhi, where the exit polls have predicted a sweeping victory for the BJP, the party has already ordered delicacies like 'motichoor cakes' and 'kamal barfis', a day before counting of votes for the Lok Sabha polls on Thursday.
