Good news: Indian-American Abhijit Banerjee wins 2019 Nobel Economics Prize

Indian-American Abhijit Banerjee was on Monday awarded the 2019 Nobel Economics Prize for his "experimental approach to alleviating global poverty."

His wife, Esther Duflo and American economist Michael Kremer jointly won the 2019 Nobel Economics Prize.
