This edition of Good News Today features 58-year-old physics teacher Jaswinder Singh from Punjab, who is on a mission to popularise science and mathematics. He has converted his car into a mobile laboratory, a 'lab on wheels', to conduct simple and fascinating experiments on the streets, sparking curiosity among both children and adults. Since starting his mission in 2012, he has travelled to 13 states across India. Singh was motivated to begin after noticing a decline in students' interest in science. He says, "When I used to get my children to do an experiment, they used to get lost in it." His efforts, aimed at showing the practical side of science, have earned him several accolades, including a national award from the President of India.
