At the India Today Editors' Roundtable conference, Union Minister Smriti Irani in response to a question on the poll promises made by the BJP before the 2014 parliamentary polls, said that Achhe Din depends on how you describe it.
While Smriti Irani was very vocal about what the government is doing, she refrained from making any political statement on Rahul Gandhi, who she is intending to contest against in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Amethi parliamentary constituency.
Upon being asked a question related to Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Irani chose not to attack him saying that it is the death anniversary of his father.
