The SP chief also said that business losses can sometimes mentally affect a person. “He was not with us today, which is very sad,” he added.

Meanwhile, Vikrant Veer, DCP Central of the Lucknow Police, told India Today's sister channel, Aaj Tak TV, that the police had not seized Prateek Yadav’s phone or laptop so far. He said further proceedings would depend on the post-mortem findings and whether any foul play was detected.

PRATEEK YADAV'S POST-MORTEM REPORT

Post-mortem findings in the death of Prateek Yadav showed no external injury marks on the body, sources said. His organs have been preserved for further examination.

Prateek Yadav's heart has also been preserved as part of the investigation, particularly to determine whether a heart attack could have caused the death and if additional medical analysis is required.

Sources also said that Prateek Yadav had gained significant weight in recent years and was also suffering from liver and lung-related ailments.

He had been hospitalised multiple times whenever his condition deteriorated. However, sources said the hospital stays were usually brief, and he would return home within a day or two after recovering.
