Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed a book launch event in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on July 4. In his speech, the RSS Sarsanghchalak said that Hindus who participate in lynchings, or target Muslims by saying they shouldn't live in the country, are not Hindus. Responding to this, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi held 'Hindutva' responsible for hate which led to lynchings of people like 'Junaid, Aqlakh, Pehlu, Rakbar, Alimuddin'.
