Cyclone Yaas review meet row: TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee's jibe at PM Modi

After West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stated that the Centre is trying to defame her and has insulted her, Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee also hit out at PM Modi, saying that this is vindictive politics by BJP government at the Centre.

This comes following a fresh showdown that has erupted between the TMC-led government in Bengal and Centre after the latter recalled the state chief secretary following a face-off over a review meeting on Cyclone Yaas, in which Mamata Banerjee allegedly 'skipped' the meet with the prime minister.
