Delhi's IGI Airport adjudged world's best by Airports Council International

Delhi International Airport Limited's (DIAL) CEO Videsh Kumar Jaipuria said that the IGI airport has been rated the best for Airport Service Quality by Airports Council International (ACI). He acknowledged the contribution of each and every stakeholder that made achieving the feat possible.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of 7th Annual GMR-IGI Airport Awards 2018, BVN Rao, chairman, transportation and urban infrastructure, GMR Group said he had been eagerly awaiting the event since a year while he acknowledged the contributions of all involved in transforming the region.

GBS Raju, chairman, airports, GMR Group said the event-- Annual GMR-IGI Airport Awards-- is held annually to celebrate one year of performance that qualified Delhi's IGI Airport as the world's best. "This event is to recognise, reward all stakeholder involved who made the airport the world's best," Raju said.

Srinivas Bommidala, chairman, energy and international airports, GMR Group said the Annual GMR-IGI Airport Awards aims at bringing all the stakeholders in the aviation ecosystem together. "Recognising who's the best in different categories leads to creating a collaborative, competitive spirit," he said.
