DK Shiva Kumar vs Siddarahmaiah: Who will Congress choose as K'taka CM candidate?

Infighting is still brewing within the Congress as to who the party will select as the chief ministerial candidate, even as the party high command has issued strict instructions to the MLAs not to discuss the CM face. There is a tug of war going on between state Congress president D K Shiva Kumar and veteran Congress leader from Karnataka Siddarahmaiah. Recently, while addressing a rally, Congress MLA Byrathi Suresh, a loyalist of Siddarahmaish, openly pledged his support to the senior Congress leader and said he deserved to become the CM. Meanwhile, in a separate rally, D K Shiva Kumar sought the support of the people of Karnataka so that he can sit in the third floor of the Vidhan Sabha, which has the Chief Minister's office.
