Gauri Lankesh murder case: Hindu Yuva Sene founder taken into police custody

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Guauri Lankesh murder case is interrogating one Naveen Kumar, arrested initially for illegal possession of ammunitions.

The SIT approached the court and secured 8-day custody of Naveen Kumar.

Kumar belongs to Hindu Yuva Sene, a right wing Hindu group that he founded in 2014. Gauri Lankesh was a critic of right extremism.
