India fights coronavirus: Epidemiologists estimate what situation will be like in next few months

India Today TV spoke to experts and epidemiologists on Saturday to get an overview of what situation will be in the next few days, weeks and months as more and more Covid-19 positive cases continue to emerge in India.

Dr. Giridhar R Babu, Professor and Head Lifecourse Epidemiology said: "If no measures are taken at all to contain the virus spread, around 2.3 crore people are likely to be hospitalised and probably 2.6 million deaths are possible in the next three months - based on estimations done in leading articles."
