Dr. Giridhar R Babu, Professor and Head Lifecourse Epidemiology said: "If no measures are taken at all to contain the virus spread, around 2.3 crore people are likely to be hospitalised and probably 2.6 million deaths are possible in the next three months - based on estimations done in leading articles."
