Major Delhi Terror Plot Foiled: 360 kg Explosives, Assault Rifle Seized in Faridabad

This special report focuses on a major terror plot targeting the national capital, which was foiled by a joint operation of the Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana Police in Faridabad. The operation led to the arrests of two doctors, Dr. Adil Ahmad Rather and Dr. Mujammil Shakeel, and the seizure of a massive cache of explosives and weapons. Highlighting the sensitivity of the operation, Faridabad Police Commissioner Satender Kumar Gupta stated, 'We were working on an anti-terror module and hence I cannot reveal more details due to national security concerns.' The haul included approximately 360 kg of suspected ammonium nitrate, a Krinkov assault rifle, a pistol, timers, and remote controls. Authorities are now investigating the full extent of this sleeper cell network, which was allegedly stockpiling the materials for a catastrophic attack in the Delhi-NCR region.
