DMK Chief MK Stalin has hit out at Home Minister Amit Shah after he called Hindi a unifying language. Stalin said, "Home Minister claims that Hindi unifies India! How is this possible in a Nation which has so many cultures getting unified by a language which is spoken in a few States?" Amit Shah should understand that Hindi is spoiling the 'Unity in Diversity' concept of India, he said. Stalin also said the Home Minister should concentrate more on saving Indians from Corona rather than trying to save Hindi. This comes after the Union Home Minister on Hindi Diwas said Hindi is an unbreakable part of Indian culture and is a powerful medium of national unity and identity.
