People have accepted Mahagatbandhan, says RLD candidate Tabassum Hasan after her victory from Kairana

Tabassum Hasan, the wife of former BSP MP Munawwar Hasan, became the first Muslim to enter Lok Sabha from Uttar Pradesh since 2014 when Narendra Modi wave swept the state. Contesting as an RLD candidate, Tabassum Hasan defeated Mriganka Singh of the BJP by nearly 50,000 votes in Kairana.

Speaking on her victory, she said people have accepted Mahagatbandhan wholeheartedly and said why didn't it was formed earlier.
