Noted Indian jurist and former Attorney General, Soli Sorabjee, has called for the Supreme Court to drop the sentencing of senior advocate Prashant Bhushan in a contempt of court case.
Talking to India Today TV, Soli Sorabjee said, “Allow him to prove his case with evidence about judicial corruption, instead of silencing him.” The remarks come ahead of the sentencing of Prashant Bhushan that is scheduled for Monday.
Soli Sorabjee has come out in support of Prashant Bhushan to say that he should not be sentenced for contempt and the court should be ready to accept criticism.
