Pune Police conducts raids across 5 cities, arrests naxal sympathisers

Pune Police today conducted raids at five places to round up 'Maoists' linked to plotting the murder of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The raid was conducted to track down naxal sympathisers.
The police arrested journlist Gautam Navlakha and human rights activist Sudha Bhardwaj following the raids. While Navlakha was arrested from Delhi, Bhardwaj was arrested from Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Left idealogue Varavara Rao was arrested from Hyderabad. The Opposition has termed the arrests attack on activists.
