Rahul Gandhi leaves Constitution Day event, BJP calls it 'insult' to President

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi left the event commemorating 75 years of the Indian Constitution early, reportedly without greeting President Droupadi Murmu. The BJP criticised his actions as an insult to the President and the significance of the occasion.

The Congress expressed discontent prior to the event, asserting that Rahul Gandhi, as a senior leader, should have been invited to speak. The BJP countered, stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not speaking at the event. 

India is marking 75 years since the adoption of its Constitution with a year-long celebration starting today. The President of India led the festivities, including a grand inaugural in Parliament's Central Hall.
