Now, Karnataka govt wants to build Kempegowda's statue

Amid coronavirus pandemic, statue politics has erupted in Karnataka. The Karnataka govt has come up with a master plan to build another statue. Preparations are underway for a stone laying foundation ceremony of a 100-ft-tall bronze statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda at the Bengaluru airport on June 27.

Meanwhile, Congress and JDS have slammed the govt's move.
