Twisha Sharma's mother-in-law Giribala Singh arrested by CBI

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Twisha Sharma's mother-in-law Giribala Singh following a five-hour interrogation. The arrest occurred after the High Court rejected her anticipatory bail plea. Authorities questioned her regarding alleged evidence tampering, delayed reporting to the police, and non-cooperation with the Special Investigation Team. The deceased woman's family accused the mother-in-law of utilising her judiciary ties to leak surveillance footage and manipulate the crime scene. The husband of the deceased is already in custody after surrendering previously. The central agency plans to present both the mother and son in court to seek further custody and will establish a camp office to conduct the ongoing investigation.
