Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Introduces VB-G RAM G Bill 2025 to Replace MGNREGA

Union Minister of Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan introduced the 'Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Bill, 2025' in the Lok Sabha. The Bill seeks to replace the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) of 2005. Chouhan highlighted that the new legislation guarantees 125 days of wage employment, an increase from the previous 100 days. He stated, 'I would like to tell you about the Bill 3, which was implemented in India in 2005. And now, the Guarantee Mission Grant for the Developed India Employment Agency (MAG) in 2025.'
