Aakhri Sawal: First look of Sanjay Dutt's film about RSS out on Hanuman Jayanti

The 2026 period drama Shatak was based on the origins of RSS. The film was directed by Ashish Mall and depicted how an organisation started as a volunteer movement and expanded across India over the years.
The director of Aakhri Sawal, Abhijeet Mohan Warang, made his directorial debut with the Marathi-language drama Picasso in 2021 and won a Special Mention at the 67th National Film Awards. His previous works include Deja Vu, Prem Pratha Dhumshan, Piccolo, and the short film Virtual Reality.
Aakhri Sawal is co-produced by Nikhil Nanda, Sanjay Dutt, Puneet Nanda, Dr Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Utkarsh Naithani. Monty Sharma has composed the film's music and the Kumar Vishwas has contributed to the lyrics.
Dutt was earlier seen in director Aditya Dhar’s espionage thriller Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which also featured Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun in key roles.
