Dhurandhar 2 impact: Bhooth Bangla makers consider delaying film's release
Bhooth Bangla may be delayed as makers reconsider release plans amid Dhurandhar 2's hit run at the box office. Directed by Priyadarshan, the horror-comedy film stars Akshay Kumar.

Producers of the upcoming film Bhooth Bangla are considering delaying its release date. The decision comes after the makers of Project Hail Mary faced difficulties securing enough screens due to the dominance of Dhurandhar 2 at theatres.
Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar, could be pushed by a week from April 10 to April 17.
Producers consider April 17 window
A source informs, “Given how Project Hail Mary did not get enough screens at the theatres amid Dhurandhar 2 screen takeover, the makers are reconsidering pushing the film by another week, from April 10 to 17, to further avoid a clash. Furthermore, fans are also posting in numbers on social media demanding the film be postponed so that it can get a fair release at the theatres.”
By April 17, Dhurandhar 2 will have completed a month in theatres, which may free up screens for other films. The producers are weighing this option carefully, with a final decision yet to be made. An official announcement is expected soon.
