He called Dhar 'the best kind of director and an even better human' and praised his encouraging personality. For Ranveer, Udaybir wrote that he truly took care of the newcomer as a brother.

Singer Saapna Mukerji has shared joy over her original voice being retained in the Oye Oye song in the film Dhurandhar 2. In a recent interview with PTI, she said the original song from the 1989 hit, Tridev, gave her identity.

He later posted a detailed review of the first and second instalments of the film, saying, "Aditya Dhar did not direct, but weaponised cinema itself."

Dhurandhar 2 actor Abhay Arora recently revealed how Ranveer Singh would take time off his busy shooting schedule to take care of his actor-wife Deepika Padukone. Speaking to Mirchi Plus, Abhay said, "Ranveer would try his best to get days off between shooting, even if it was just three or four days, so he could fly back to his wife and take care of his family. The way Ranveer takes care of his family is wonderful.”

Ranveer and Deepika welcomed their daughter Dua in 2024. This was also the time the Dhurandhar actor began filming for the film.
