Actress Rhea Chakraborty was a guest speaker on Day 2 of the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2023. She was invited for the session titled 'Rising from the Ashes and Finding Herself.'

During the session, Rhea Chakraborty shed light on her life post the tragic death of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. She also spoke about how she made a comeback to showbiz.
Rhea Chakraborty is currently seen as one of the gang leaders on the reality show 'Roadies 19: Karm Ya Kaand'.
The 'Jalebi' actress also reflected upon the time when she was brutally trolled and targeted after the death of Sushant. She said, "I always believe that there are two sides of the story and not everyone believed in that day. Today, life has come to a full circle and I am speaking to the media after 2020 for the first time."
After wearing a T-shirt with 'Smash the patriarchy' written on it, Rhea was seen at the Conclave with the same message.
Rhea also candidly spoke about being labelled 'Chudail', 'murderer' and a 'killer'. She said that she likes being called a 'chudail', because to her a witch is someone who does not subscribe to patriarchal society or had her own way.
She also addressed the issue of mental health and said, "It is very difficult for people to digest the fact that someone who is rich and famous could be mentally affected and depressed."
