Aryan Khan was recently trending on social media after a video from his best friend’s wedding showed him fiercely protecting the groom’s shoe during a fun joota churai ceremony. The viral clip captured Aryan almost falling as he tried to stop the bride’s side from stealing the shoe, turning the traditional wedding ritual into what planners called a "full-blown mini war".

The wedding planners shared the video on Instagram from Aryan's best friend Maahir Mehta and Rhea Nadkarni’s wedding. Sharing details about the fun-filled moment, they wrote, “An afternoon that turned into a full-blown battle of love, laughter & a whole bit of chaos. Between sneaky steals, dramatic negotiations, and laughter echoing through every corner - this wasn’t just joota churai, it was a memory in the making (sic).”

The text on the video read, “Joota churai turned into a full-blown mini war!”

In the video, Aryan was seen dressed casually in jeans, a T-shirt and a brown jacket as he held on tightly to the groom’s shoe. Despite repeated attempts from the bride’s side to snatch it away, he refused to give up.

At one point, he almost fell while trying to protect the shoe, and another clip showed him pulling and fighting to keep it safe before eventually running away with it.

On the work front, Aryan Khan recently made his directorial debut with Netflix series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, where he served as director, writer, creator and showrunner.

The show featured actors like Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Mona Singh and Sahher Bambba in key roles, along with cameo appearances by stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Diljit Dosanjh.
