Manoj Bajpayee reacts to Ranveer Singh's ban amid Don 3 row
Manoj Bajpayee reacted to the FWICE ban on Ranveer Singh after his abrupt Don 3 exit. He was present at the trailer launch of his upcoming film where he commented on the issue.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee reacted to a ban on fellow actor Ranveer Singh by the Federation of Western and Indian Cine Employess (FWICE) following his abrupt exit with Don 3. The actor, who was present at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Governor, said he wishes for the matter to be sorted out amicably.
Speaking at the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Governor, Bajpayee said, "The place is very wrong. I must tell you one thing that all the people who are in this industry, they are only reading it on social media and we don't have detailed information about it. But all we can say as colleagues or as fellow fraternity members that we hope that the matter is sorted out soon."
The FWICE has banned Ranveer Singh from working with members of the organisation until the dispute is resolved. The federation has also supported the producers’ demand seeking compensation for alleged pre-production losses of around Rs 45 crore.
Manoj Bajpayee, who has not shared screen space with Ranveer Singh so far, said he hopes the issue is resolved amicably without any further escalation.
All about Ranveer Singh's Don 3 row
After Ranveer Singh exited Don 3, reports claimed that Farhan Akhtar and Excel Entertainment sought compensation over alleged pre-production losses estimated at around Rs 40–45 crore. The matter was later taken to the Producers Guild of India, following which Farhan approached FWICE.
FWICE issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer on May 25, alleging that the actor did not respond to repeated requests to appear before the federation and discuss the matter. FWICE advisor Ashoke Pandit claimed that the production team had already spent heavily on hotel bookings, overseas travel, location recce and other pre-production arrangements before the actor exited the film.
Pandit also said Ranveer had signed a three-film agreement with Excel Entertainment and had been involved in script discussions and promotional material for Don 3. According to him, the actor’s team later informed FWICE through an email that the federation did not have jurisdiction over the dispute.
FWICE then announced that its members and affiliated workers, including technicians and support staff, would not work with Ranveer until the matter is resolved.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh’s spokesperson released a statement saying the actor has chosen not to comment publicly on the issue. The statement added that he continues to respect the film fraternity and everyone associated with the Don franchise, and believes professional matters should be handled with dignity and mutual respect.
