Delhi Police registers first FIR in JNU violence case

Soon after violence broke out in Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), the state police registered the first FIR on Monday in connection with violence in the campus, Delhi Police sources said. The FIR was registered under relevant sections relating to damage of public property damage and rioting.

On Sunday, a mob armed with sticks unleashed violence on the campus and attacked students and teachers. For more, watch this video.
