NEET paper leak case: Why no action taken on Parliamentary Panel findings?

After the NEET paper leak in 2024, the Union Education Ministry constituted a High-Level Committee of Experts (HLCE) to ensure transparent, smooth, and fair conduct of examinations through the NTA. The committee identified the problems and suggested sweeping reforms. These included recommendations for leak-proof Paper and Pen Tests (PPT) and hack-proof Computer-Based Tests (CBTs). In December 2025, the Parliamentary Standing Committee, in its report said, “The National Testing Agency (NTA)’s performance in the last year has not inspired much confidence.” So, why was no action taken on Parliamentary Panel findings?
