Chief Minister and Telugu Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has turned his attention to plan for a federal front government. KCR met his Odisha counterpart and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneshwar on Sunday and is now set to meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today.
On December 24, KCR will call on Mamata Banerjee to discuss the federal front government once again. Previously, both the leaders had expressed their willingness to form an alternative front against the Central Government when they last met in March 2018.
Earlier in November, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu met Mamata Banerjee where the two leaders spoke about going against the government.
