Rajinikanth to announce party details; WHO says COVID-19 a pandemic; more

Rajinikanth is all set to hold a press briefing on Thursday morning to announce the details of his political party, the launch of which is scheduled for next month. He will also hold another meeting with the office bearers of the Rajini Makkal Mandram.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared on Wednesday that the coronavirus outbreak could now be characterised as a "pandemic". The declaration came as the coronavirus cases are sharply increasing around the world.
