Israel doesn't have interest in controlling Gaza Strip: Envoy Reuven Azar

Israel's Ambassador to India Reuven Azar said that Israel doesn't have any interest in controlling the Gaza Strip.

"Israel doesn't have an interest of controlling the Gaza Strip. If we would have the interest of controlling the Gaza Strip, we could have stayed there when the IDF invaded the Gaza Strip." Reuven Azar said.

He revealed about half of the remaining 59 Israeli hostages are likely not alive. Azar dismissed Hamas' claim that hostages were killed in Israeli airstrikes as 'ridiculous'.
