JNU violence: Who were these masked goons?

Masked men and women armed with sticks, rods attacked students and teachers at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on Sunday. In the violence, nearly 28 people, including JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh, were injured as chaos reigned on the campus.
