PM Modi vs Mamata: Gujarat model for Bengal?

After winning the Bihar assembly elections, the BJP is all geared up for the Battle for Bengal. West Bengal will go to assembly polls next year. And ahead of the polls, Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh has sparked a political row by announcing that his party will follow the Gujarat growth model for Bengal if it is voted to power.

He further added once BJP comes to power, people in Bengal will not have to go to Gujarat for jobs.

Meanwhile, TMC has lashed out at Dilip Ghosh for the Gujarat reference, saying it was a state better known for encounters against minorities.

So, as the war of words continues, the big question is, will BJP's Gujarat growth model work in Bengal?
