Coolie makers challenge A certificate for film in Madras High Court

The row over Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Coolie has reached the Madras High Court, with Sun Pictures challenging the CBFC’s decision to grant it an ‘A’ certificate. The producers argue the film has been unfairly classified compared to similar action-heavy hits like KGF and Beast, which received U/A ratings. On August 19, Justice TV Thamilselvi admitted the petition and scheduled a hearing for the next day.
