Ahead of upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan, the state has seen a rise in communal clashes and violence in the last one month. It all started with communal clashes in Karauli, Alwar, then in Jodhpur on the eve of Eid and now in Bhilwara.
And, mobile internet services have been suspended for 24 hours in Bhilwara district after unidentified masked men thrashed two people and set a bike on fire, an official said.
Meanwhile, the curfew clamped in Jodhpur following the violence continued for the third day today with the police saying all efforts were being made to maintain law and order.
