Politics has erupted over the brief exchange between PM Modi and President Xi at the BRICS summit in South Africa's Johannesburg. After the meeting, China, on Thursday, released a statement saying that President Xi and PM Modi "had a candid and in-depth exchange of views on current China-India relations and other questions of shared interest on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit".
