Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. reported strong March 2026 sales, driven by SUV demand, with total volumes nearing one lakh units and robust year-on-year growth across passenger and commercial vehicle segments.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported robust sales performance for March 2026, with total vehicle sales reaching 99,969 units, marking a 21% year-on-year growth, including exports. The company’s strong showing was led by its utility vehicle (UV) portfolio, which continues to be a key growth driver.
In the domestic market, Mahindra sold 60,272 utility vehicles during the month, registering a healthy 25% increase compared to the same period last year. Including exports, total UV sales stood at 62,109 units. Meanwhile, domestic commercial vehicle sales came in at 24,928 units, up 11% year-on-year.
Mahindra also closed FY2026 on a high note, achieving its highest-ever annual volumes across key segments. SUV sales reached 6,60,276 units, reflecting a 20% year-on-year growth, while light commercial vehicles (LCVs under 3.5 tonnes) recorded sales of 2,89,597 units, up 13%.
Segment-wise performance
Passenger Vehicles (Domestic):
Utility vehicles accounted for the entire passenger vehicle portfolio, with March sales at 60,272 units (up 25%). Year-to-date (YTD) sales stood at 6,60,276 units, a 20% increase.
Commercial Vehicles (Domestic):
LCV <2T: 3,526 units (flat YoY)
LCV 2T–3.5T: 21,402 units (up 13%)
3-wheelers (including EVs): 10,801 units (up 39%)
Exports: Exports declined marginally by 4% in March to 3,968 units, though YTD exports grew 18% to 40,990 units.
